The best way to experience Athens’ life and sites, in one morning.

Start the day with a visit to the ancient heart of Athens. Centrally situated at the top of a hill, the Acropolis since the 5th BC century includes the famous monument of Parthenon, built to honor the Goddess Athena and the temple of Athena Nike as well as the Erectheion, built to honor both the goddess Athena and the god Poseidon and which houses the female shaped statues Caryatides. Propylaea stand at the entrance of Acropolis since they were built as its gate.

A visit to the New Museum of Acropolis, will give you a complete image of how life was on the Athenian Acropolis and its surroundings in antiquity. With a 360 degree view of the Acropolis from the top floor of the museum, standing at just 300 meters southeast of the Parthenon, the museum has a full range of visitor amenities and is guaranteed to impress you with its exhibits as well as with its cutting edge architecture.

Following your walk to ancient Athens, is a panoramic tour through the modern city where you can observe and enjoy how the modern life blends in with antiquity.
First stop, right above Hermou street and Syntagma Square (Constitution Sq), see the Greek Parliament standing behind the monument of the unknown soldier guarded by the Evzones. Stand and take pictures in the most central place of Greece.

Following that we will drive by the Temple of Olympian Zeus and head to the Panatheneaic Stadium where the 1896 Olympics opening and closing ceremonies were held. Originally built in 330BC as a racecourse for the ancient Panathenaic games it was later rebuilt entirely of white marble and it is also known as the Kallimarmaro: beautiful marble.

Continuing our tour we will drive to the Neoclassical age side of Athens, as we see three of their great representatives, the buildings operating today as the Academy of Arts, the University of Athens and the National Library, built in the 19th century they are one more combination of ancient and modern times in this city as their architecture imitates that of famous ancient buildings and their use today is to host culture.
Finally, the best way to take all this experience in is to see it from above… Lycabetus Hill offers a truly magical panoramic view of the vast city of Athens!
